Our local library recently sponsored a contest for elementary through junior high students to design a bookmark. These bookmarks would be judged and the winners would be printed and be available for sale with the proceeds to benefit the library. Taylor, our 8 year old grandson, was the first place winner for second grade!
Tonight the library held a reception and bookmark signing. People were able to purchase the bookmarks and have the young artist sign the back. It was a lot of fun and since it supports our library, there was a good attendance.
