Catching Up On The Birth of Samuel Clay Phillips

This past summer we welcomed grand child number 7.  Who would have thought!  Samuel Clay Phillips joined the family on August 12, 2015.  Sam was another big boy, weighing in at nine pounds and 3 ounces.  And, he is a beautiful baby.  We were not able to go to Denver immediately but did make the trip about a week later.  It was fun to catch up visiting with Jane and Jack and getting acquainted with Sam.

It wasn't all relaxation and fun, however.  Many times when we visit Jeremy, we try and help him with some of his projects that he needs a little assistance with or one that he doesn't have time for.  This trip we helped him with a bathroom remodel, especially a shower tear out and re-tiling.  Jeremy had already torn the old shower out and had put up the concrete backer board.   So, we rented a tile saw and set to work installing the new tile.

It turned out really pretty and functional.  To celebrate, we took a day off and went over to Golden for the day.  Golden is a very pretty little town with lots of western history, recreation and sights.  We enjoyed the day just sight seeing and being together.

What a cruel world!  I was really comfy!

Proud Daddy Jeremy seems to like Sam already.

As does his Papaw!

And Bebe,too.

The older kids always have a few new tricks to show you!
Here, Jane and Jack illustrate their latest head stands.

Yes, we do showers.

Jack wanted to help, too, of course.  Start them out young.

After a hard day, looks like everyone is tired and ready for a nap!
