Taylor To High School.....Taylor To High School....Over

Taylor Dan Long, the little boy we used to keep when he was a baby has now been promoted to high school.  We can't believe that 14 years ago this little guy came into this world and in the blink of an eye, here he is, already 14 and about to start high school.  In 4 short years, and we mean short, he'll be gone and we don't know if we can stand it.

Oh, we've spent a lot of time together over the years, more than any of the other grand kids, especially since he was the first and he lives close by.  We've drawn every thing under the sun (some during church I'll admit),  colored and painted all kinds of crafts together, built airports out of cardboard; planes and cars out of scrap wood, worked and played in the pecan orchard together, and even sailed through the "big dip" in Munday together.

He's grown into a handsome and smart young man, out pacing both Bebe and me in height, and in intelligence, too!  He soloed in a glider on his 14th birthday and has big dreams for his future!  It was a great promotion ceremony and we really do look forward to the next four years, especially since we can't stop time, anyway.

Getting ready to receive those diplomas!

Some of Taylor's best friends.

He has taken a growth spurt and might just catch his Dad.

Guess he is getting older, especially from the looks of his Pawpaw and Bebe!

He's getting taller and we're getting shorter!  That doesn't seem fair!

We need to edit this graduation picture, but we think it's a good one!
Congratulations, Taylor!
