It's Birthday Time Around Here.

(Note:  Still catching up.  The publish date and the actual date of the event are not the same!)

Somebody evidently wasn't thinking when they had children in the days just ahead of Christmas.  All three of our own children had kids in November and of course, we had two in December as well!  Throw in a couple of in-laws and before you know it, it's constant partying around here!

We didn't get pictures of everyone's birthday.  Sorry Jane, Toby and Annie but hopefully we will get yours next year.

Remington turned 2 on November 21, 2016.  He wasn't sure
about these candle things.  And, he had just gotten up from a nap and was a little overwhelmed!

This turned out pretty good after all!

Mom and Dad are just glad they got it all together!
We've always said that birthday parties and picture taking
are two of the most stressful times in the lives of parents.  As we've
gotten older, there are a few others to add to the list!!

Ashley chose a camping/outdoor theme.  Very appropriate for this boy!

Remington and Papaw playing with silly glasses.

Jordan used a few of Granddad's old fishing lures as decorations.
Granddad loved to fish, as does Jordan!

Let the gifting begin!  Remington was ready to saddle up with this
stick horse we gave him.

Ready to help his Daddy do the weed eating around the place.

Every boy needs some heavy equipment!

Leighton decided she would try out the weed eater.  Note:  proper eye protection!

Next birthday:  Taylor Dan, the oldest of the seven grandchildren turned 13
on November 20.  Toby's birthday is November 24!

Taylor used to say "Get out of here smoke!"  There's more
smoke every year as he gets older.

As they get older, the gifts they want get bigger!

It was Thanksgiving time when Toby's birthday rolled around!

Thanksgiving 2016.  These pilgrims are some very old Hallmark decorations
that Bev has had for a long time.  If you ever watch the ending of Driving Miss Daisy,
you'll see these on the table at the nursing home where Miss Daisy lives!

Celebrating Toby's big day at Thanksgiving!

It's Jennifer's time.  Oh no, it's the big 40!

All those candles combined into just two.  We had to make it
easy on someone so old!!
While it's not a traditional birthday cake, a millionaire usually is a good fill-in!
